Captain Dave Rosa’s Celebration of Life/Memorial services
On behalf of Local 372 President Rex Pritchard:

“The support of the IAFF and the CPF has been overwhelming and so appreciative. The support of local’s from across the nation has been equally amazing and much appreciated. On behalf of the Local 372 Board of Directors, I would like to invite all sworn fire fighters to join us in celebrating the life of our fallen Brother, Captain David Rosa, at our union hall immediately after the ceremony. Our union hall is located at 2201 Cherry (cross street is Hill). Parking for members who are attending on fire engines will be on Cherry Street south of the union hall and on Hill Street. Members who are in personal vehicles will be able to park in parking lots just west of the union hall and at the neighboring elementary schools. Local 372 will have food and drink for all those attending and a guest book for locals to sign and offer condolences that we will give to the family”.

“This has hit our membership extremely hard and we truly appreciate all the support, especially the Rosa family. The Rosa family told me that they thought the fire family was limited to the Long Beach Fire Department / IAFF Local 372 and didn’t realize that the fire family is nationwide. We ask that union leadership spread the word through email, phone calls, texts, etc. We ask that people do not post on social media, as we want this strictly for our IAFF brothers and sisters.”
